Xotic has just started shipping the latest of their always sold-out limited editions. This one features a unique chrome top SL Drive and in addition Xotic is also including their Voltage Doubler, giving you the option of sending either 12 or 15 volts to the SL Drive instead of 9 volts. As you'll see, this gizmo can change the character of the pedal quite a bit, adding sparkle and headroom.

Xotic have recreated this vintage masterpiece in a rugged small enclosure. The SL Drive offers very amp like response and cleans up nicely with a roll of your guitar's volume knob.
The internal dip switches allow you to choose the sound characteristics of both 1959 models. The "Super Lead" setting offers a brighter tone with more gain, while the "Super Bass" setting has more low end with less highs.
The SL Drive is equipped with true bypass switching and eliminates any signal interference when switched off. Power requirements are either 9V battery or AC adaptor (optional).
The Xotic Voltage Doubler gives you the option of powering the EP Booster or other Xotic pedals at 15 or 18-volts giving extra headroom and brightness.
