The WCGM55K is a ¾ size, satin finished, dreadnought style acoustic guitar with a Koa top, back and sides. It feature Comfort Series appointments like a forearm rest consisting of a beveled strip of rosewood at the lower bout which becomes part of the rosewood top binding. A partial “Comfort” cutaway on the bottom upper bout allows superior access to the higher frets. The mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays which ties in nicely with the rosewood bridge. The rosewood capped headstock features a maple inlaid Washburn logo and stylized W as well as gold tuners with ebonite buttons. The gorgeous rosette is made of alternating maple and mahogany.
The WCGM55K sounds much larger and far more musical than its smaller size would lead you to believe. Crafted with premium materials, it makes an excellent recording or travel guitar.
