Music Store Live is proud to offer up this MasterBuilt limited edition 2021 Warwick Streamer Stage I. Lucky number 7 out of 25 worldwide (includes 4 and 5-string versions), this is a true rare bird and a collector's piece, for sure. 

Obviously, when it's coming from Warwick's custom shop, you just know to expect incredible level of craftsmanship. But when it's a MasterBuilt instrument, it's truly a masterpiece. From the tuners and the headstock all the way down through the body, everything about this bass is highly premium and the stuff that dreams are made out of. The figuring on the black korina body, the flame maple neck, the pau ferro fretboard, and even the headstock veneer and tuner buttons are all clearly carefully chosen from a very select wood library that they've got. Even the control cover is made out of the same piece of wood that they had to cut out to create the cavity. And while you're checking out the back, let's just give a gander at that neck for a second... Holy cow!

The Bartolini soapbars and MEC preamp combine for a tone that is modern and hi-fi but also has the flexibility to get you some old school sounds, too. We tried to think of what sort of player is going to end up wanting the tones that this bass can provide, but the reality is this is going to appeal to anyone from jazz players to funkers (the slap tone is sick!) to rockers playing with a pick. Basically, if you want a sound that is tight and punchy with lots of flexibility to cut and boost the bass, mids, and treble frequencies, then it doesn't really get any better than this. The neck pickup solo'd starts to get you into that P-bass territory a bit and sounds great when you want a rounder and more woofy sound (or something more vintage sounding, perhaps). The bridge pickup has enough fatness where you can solo it and it'll sit in a mix just fine. It's growly as all heck and definitely barks. The array of tones you can get out of this are pretty limitless. There's even a mini-toggle to let you select from 3 different mid-range frequencies and the volume knob is push/pull to go between active and passive with the preamp.

Go ahead and set your expectations very high for this one. This is what functional art looks like. Beautiful to stare at but even better to play, this is a truly special piece. 

This Limited Edition MasterBuilt Warwick Streamer Stage I sports a black korina body with a 4-piece roasted highly flamed maple neck. The fretboard is made from a beautiful piece of pau ferro. Electronically, this bass sports two passive Bartolini soapbar pickups wired to an active MEC 3-band preamp. The controls are volume, balance, mid, and stacked treble and bass.
