Music Store Live is proud to present this Suhr Standard Custom. We traveled to Suhr's factory and carefully picked out all of the woods and specs for this to come up with a guitar that will look as beautiful as it sounds. This might be one of our favorite Suhr's that we've seen in a long time. A birdseye maple fretboard and burl top give you a ton to look at while the roasted maple feels phenomenal under your fretting hand. Built in John Suhr's custom shop, by some of the finest luthiers in the western hemisphere, this Standard HSS is an absolutely smokin' hot guitar.

The even C slim neck shape is comfortable and super fast without feeling like you're holding a toothpick. The single-coil pickups are bright, twangy, and smooth. The middle pickup is a slightly underwound V60 which really brings out the beautiful vocal-like quality in the pickup. In the bridge, we stuck an SSH+ to give it a bit more oomph when you need to dial in a bit of a heavier sound and play with some distortion. The pickups each stand alone to provide a ton of versatility in the guitar when each is selected on its own and they also pair together incredibly well too.

A fine example of a boutique hot-rodded build that can handle vintage and modern applications, this Suhr guitar will awe your friends, bandmates, and audience with its sound and dazzle them all with its looks. This beauty can handle anything from jazz to blues to metal, and anything in between. The icing on the cake for this one is its incredibly svelt, yet balanced 7 lbs weight. It's nice and light so you can rock out for hours and hours on end, which is good because the hardest thing with this beauty is going to be putting it down once you start playing it.
