This GPCPA4 is a workhorse acoustic built on the Grand Performance body style, a hefty design that offers powerful but smooth bass response and a detailed high-end. The top is solid sitka spruce and the sides and back are sapele. This is a tried and true tonewood combination that provides projection, clarity and balance. The Performing Artist profile neck is very comfortable - it's slimmer than a vintage design but not paper thin. Electronically, this axe is equipped with the Fishman F-1 Analog pickup system. This is a nuanced, responsive pickup that can really breathe with the acoustic sound of the instrument. This guitar is ready for as many gigs as you can throw at it.
