We're very proud to offer up this Mayones Regius 7 Core Classic guitar! 

The Regius line provides an excellent balance between classic design and modern tone. The neck feels absolutely amazing whether you're a 6-string slinger or have been playing extended range guitars for a while. The idea behind this is to still suit to Mayones' tradition of aggressive tone and shredder guitars, while keeping one foot in the more traditional and vintage tonal spectrum. The Duncan JB and Jazz pickups clean up very nicely and aren't quite as in-your-face as what you'll find in some of Mayones' other offerings. The guitar stays defined even when heavily saturated with distortion but can also cop a mellower and more vintage vibe too with a few minor control tweaks.

While this guitar is still going to be a head-turner - I mean, just look at it! It's gorgeous! - the angles on the body and the quilted maple archtop will feel more familiar to players accustomed to more traditional axes of old. While this axe is very versatile and doesn't require you to play it at breakneck speeds with loads of distortion, it certainly still wants you to do that and will facilitate you in doing that, which is the coolest part. The guitar plays so well that licks which may have been beyond your capabilities in the past, may very well find themselves jumping right out of this bad boy.
