Offering some of the highest quality craftsmanship we've ever come across, Mayones is building some absolutely killer guitars that have not just metal rockers turning their heads to take note. The neck on this 7-string is super comfortable and will require little-to-no adjustment if you're a 6-string slinger. The low-B is tight, punchy, and really brings the thunder thanks to the V-fret design. It doesn't have any of that wobbliness that you can sometimes encounter. Flying up and down the neck is a breeze and whether you're playing chords, ripping lead-lines, or using both hands to do some fancy fretboard tapping, you'll find this guitar to be super expressive and the notes just jump right out with minimal effort.
The Bare Knuckle slanted Aftermath pickups combine to make a force to be reckoned with. The output is hot and these pickups will hit the front end of your amplifier or your pedals hard. They're like a racecar sitting at the red light revving it's engine, just itching for the light to turn green and unleash the power like a bat out of hell. They have a super tight bass response and hi-midrange presence that helps provide every single note with punch, definition, and clarity, even when heavily saturated with loads of distortion.
A simple master volume control (with push/pull coil-splitting capability) makes this a no-fuss 7-string shredder's axe that always sounds great and won't leave you with any hand fatigue after long sessions or shows.
