The idea behind the true temperament frets is a simple one where it makes fine-tune adjustments on each string for each not so that all the way up and down the neck and across every string you are even closer to being perfectly in tune than you could ever achieve with traditional straight frets. You'll especially notice it when playing chords and hearing how tight all of the notes sound together. And while it may look crazy, it requires virtually no adjustment period to get used to it. Just play it as you would any normal guitar. It's still just as lightning fast to play and just as comfortable, but with impeccable intonation all the way up and down the neck and on every string.
