We were impressed with the punchy and full bass response that came out of this 000 body. The guitar's got a nice full low end with a pronounced, cutting, but very pleasant top end. The slight mid-scoop of the guitar makes it excellent for singer-songwriters as the sound of the guitar will beautifully wrap itself around the frequencies of your vocals. And if you're playing a slightly larger gig, well you've got a killer built-in Fishman preamp in there that clearly and accurately portrays the sound of the guitar to any PA or amp that you want to plug into.

Easy on the hands, easy on the eyes, and with the sort of playability you'd expect out of a $2k+ guitar, this is a great guitar for a pro, or anybody that's looking to step their acoustic guitar tone up a notch.

Manufacturer's Description

This 16 Series Auditorium model is crafted with satin-finished granadillo back and sides, which provide prominent bass response while maintaining bell-like overtones. It includes a Sitka spruce gloss top for balanced tone and projection and a high-performance neck taper for ease of playability up and down the fretboard. The 000-16E comes equipped with Fishman® Matrix VT Enhance electronics. Strung with Authentic Acoustic Lifespan® 2.0 light gauge strings.
