LsL Instruments are being built just a couple of hours up the road from us, right here in California, and we are proud to now be offering them up through Music Store Live. A rosewood neck tele will forever have a place in guitar history thanks to George Harrison, among others. Here's a boutique, high-end take on that with a neck that is absolutely to die for in terms of feel. It's definitely a guitar you'll never want to put down.
 
If you're looking for a T-style guitar that plays like it was built in a custom shop but looks like it's been by your side for a while and has some stories to tell, then look no further! This T-Bone is an absolute tone beast and it looks super cool. Tastefully distressed to look as though it's seen some adventures in its time, but with some of the most immaculate fretwork and overall construction quality that you can find, this axe really has got it going on. Any guitar with an all-rosewood neck usually jumps up in our "favorites list". There's just something about the way it feels in your hand and, over time, it only gets better and better. The more you play a rosewood neck, the better it feels.
 
The sound is thoroughly vintage and everything about this guitar just makes you feel right at home with it from the minute it's in your hands. The hand-wound pickups are extremely rich in their harmonic content and have a lot of snappiness and twang to them without sacrificing the body and punch of the notes. They sound as good, if not better than any vintage-inspired single coils you've ever heard! It's an extremely dynamic and responsive guitar that will keep on kicking ass for decades to come.

Manufacturer's Description

Our T-bone is a re-creation of the best a '50's or '60 vintage T-style guitar has to offer and more. We start by selecting the best possible materials and then make them right here in our shop. We make the bodies, necks, truss rods, pickups, saddles and pick guards all here. Each body is built and detailed by hand. Each neck is hand shaped. Then we lay on the thinnest possible nitrocellulose lacquer finish and that finish is then weather checked. This creates a very airy, open, articulate tone that is then enhanced by our own, LsL hand-wound pickups.

This is as close as you can get to achieving the tone, playability, look and feel of a vintage guitar. Our T-bones have found their way into the hands of many a player who has replaced their 50's-vintage instrument with ours.
The best materials, best processes and a love and care for each guitar is what makes the T-bone the new standard in vintage-style instruments.  We make them all for ourselves but then we have to sell them.
