Plugged in, this dreadnought reveals itself to be a spectacular live performance and recording studio guitar. It is easy to quickly dial in your tone and it does a wonderful job of showcasing the excellent tone if this guitar instead of showcasing the sound of the pickup. This is a top-shelf dreadnought fit for the advancing player or consummate professional.

This dreadnought features high-quality tonewoods such as a solid AAA spruce top with scalloped red spruce bracing and solid rosewood sides and back. The natural finish and nitrocellulose lacquer combine to make a stunning looking guitar as well as a brilliantly resonant body. The mahogany neck features a bound ebony fretboard with a 12" radius and natural mother of pearl and abalone inlays. The nut width is 1.69". Other fine appointments on this D-55 include gold hardware, an ebony bridge, abalone rosette, Gotoh 700 series open back tuners, bone saddle and nut and a tortoise shell pickguard. This D-55E comes with a premium hard shell case.The LR Baggs Anthem pickup system is crystal clear and transparent. You get the accurate and true sound of this awesome guitar seeping through your amp or PA system.
