A pair of TV Jones Ful-Fidelity pickups get you a vintage tone that is crystal clear and harmonically rich. They're unwaxed so you really get some of the most vocal-like qualities out of any pickup. The Squeezebox paper-in-oil capacitors also help to really sweeten the treble response so that the guitar still sounds bright without sounding shrill.
 
Add some expressive shimmer to your playing with the Bigsby B6GVT vibrato tailpiece while the pinned Roller bridge and bone nut combine for impeccable tuning stability. Immaculate fretwork allows you to lower the action without worrying about fret buzz. The overall top-notch construction of the guitar allows you to feel the resonance and sustain of the guitar all the way up and down the neck and in that sweet-sounding hollow body.

Satisfying eyes and ears with its golden tones and gleaming looks, this rare Lake Placid Blue guitar comes alive in the player’s hands, singing with its distinctive voice at every strum.

A pair of TV Jones® Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity pickups generates powerful tone and unparalleled dynamics. A highly resonant laminated maple top with 1959-style trestle bracing and laminated maple back and sides make this instrument a veritable cannon. Add some expressive shimmer to your playing with the string-thru Bigsby B6CP vibrato tailpiece while the pinned rocking bar bridge and Graph Tech® TUSQ™ XL nut combine for impeccable tuning stability.

Some parts of history are so legendary that they never die. The original Filter’Tron, invented by Ray Butts and originally called the “Ful-Fidelity” in his technical journals is one of those things. These pickups are made according to Ray’s personal notes, designs and Jones’ extensive, multi-decade analysis of original Filter’Tron pickups. Butts was awarded one of the first patents for a hum-canceling guitar pickup (No. 2,892,371, June 30, 1959.)

“This is the real deal...each offering includes all of the original design's bells and whistles...the vintage pole spacing, covers, original zinc-coated backplate used by Gretsch at that time and more.  In Ray’s era, factory made guitar pickups were not wax saturated as they are now. These pickups will not be saturated in order to remain absolutely historically correct,” said Jones. “I notice a more three-dimensional, open-air quality to the tone of a pickup that is not saturated in wax. Microphonic feedback is not a big issue with this design. To be clear though - I do find waxing necessary for higher-gain, ‘squeal-less’ applications.”
