Manufacturer's Description

The 'Slim' in the moniker refers to the 1.715" neck width at the nut, which is a mere 16th of an inch wider than our standard electric guitar nut width. If you do most of your playing on a guitar with a fairly narrow neck (most solid body electric guitars) this is the ACS-SA for you. The slim neck of this guitar along with our Ergocut shaping technique and 16" fingerboard radius provide for a very easy transition for steel string guitar players looking to integrate nylon string guitar sounds into their music. Aside from the new neck, the ACS-SA Slim shares all of the same features that have made the ACS-SA an industry standard. The chambered, silverleaf maple body with a cedar top results in an instrument that is virtually free of feedback, making it easy to use even in loud stage situations.

The narrow handle combined with the shape (Ergocut) and the radius of the keyboard make it easier to pass your musical style played with a guitar with metal strings with one with nylon ropes. Apart from the dimensions of the handle all the other features of this instrument are identical to those of the ACS Nylon Synth Access and that have made it an Industrial Standard

The Body in silver leaf maple with solid cedar top and the particular shape of the tonal chamber makes that sound answer is closer to a Solid Body instrument more than to a traditional acoustic guitar. These characteristics translate into an instrument that is practically devoid of feedback, making it easy to use even in live stage situations

The ACS-SA and ACS-SA Slim versions include single RMC ™ transducers for each string managed by a custom RMC ™ preamp system. This system not only produces amplified sound, but also provides a hexaphonic output via a 13-pin connector that allows direct access to the Roland GR ™ Synths and many other 13 Pin Devices
