This is the best way that we know of to get an instrument that's built right here in California and still comes in at a reasonable price point compared to other USA-made guitars and basses.

This is constructed by the exact same people that make the G&L Custom builds but they're able to offer it at a reduced price by not providing so many options. In 2018 G&L introduced the Fullerton Standard and Fullerton Deluxe series. What was already a great bang-for-your-buck instrument just got even better! For 2020, they decided to simplify things a bit more and now they only offer the Fullerton Deluxe series. All of the Fullerton Deluxe instruments will now feature a vintage tint satin neck and will include G&L's deluxe padded gig bag.

When Paul Gagon, ex-G&L VP of Engineering and all-around tone and pickup guru, was tasked with creating a guitar that honored the tradition of great American tone, he drew from decades of experience in the industry and came up the G&L Legacy. It's a straightforward yet innovative guitar that honors the past while providing subtle refinements for today's player. The tone is the epitome of great single-coil American sound. The humbucker in the bridge certainly helps to give it that hot-rodded vibe and gives the guitar a bit more oomph when you're trying to add some saturation to your tone.

In a world where American-made instruments are only increasing in price each year, it's great to see G&L finding a way to still provide that quality for their customers while coming in below what most of their comparable competitors are charging for their USA-built offerings.
