Clean, you can pull all kinds of twang out of this axe, but unlike a lot of single cut bolt-on guitars, you can just as easily get thick, rich tones courtesy of the humbucker in the neck position. With some distortion, this guitar turns into the perfect axe for any kind of blues, rock or country. It thickens up and cuts through with a meaty, midsy punch, more than living up to its name. The chechen fretboard, also known as Carribean rosewood, has just a bit of extra snappiness to it. Tonally, it's reminiscent to the way pau ferro sounds. Still quite warm and round, but with a subtle amount of extra spank to the top end. The neck is very round and comfortable, perfect for fast leads, chords and big bends. This guitar represents some of the best American craftsmanship around.
