Music Store Live is proud to present this G&L Tribute SB-2 Bass! G&L's Tribute series instruments sound, play and feel about three times better than their price suggests. If you make a habit of comparing price points, you can stop, because there isn't much that can compete with G&L's low/mid-priced instruments. This SB-2 bass might look like designs you're familiar with, but it has its own unique tonal identity and body carve. This bass is all about a straight-ahead design that can handle modern and classic styles with equal ease. The controls are intuitive yet minimal: With a few simple turns of the knobs, you can step out and punch or lay back and groove. The neck is smooth and easy to navigate. If you're looking to lay down the low end without compromise but you don't want to take out a mortgage, this is the way to go.

Item Details

This G&L Tribute SB-2 bass features a basswood body with a Bordeaux Red Metallic finish. The body carve is comfortable in all the right spots and has a way of molding to your body, perfect for playing multi-hour sets or practicing for days on end. The maple neck has a medium C shape, rosewood board with a 12" radius, dot inlays and 21 medium jumbo frets. Electronically, this bass features the same pickups as its American-made counterpart: One G&L MFD Split-Coil (middle), and one G&L MFD Single-Coil (bridge). Depending on how you EQ your sound, these pickups can do everything from vintage warmth to modern punch. A volume knob for each pickup lets you be as specific about your sound as you want. The traditional open-back tuners and G&L Saddle Lock bridge ensure tuning stability and precision.
