Music Store Live is proud to present this stunningly beautiful and drop-dead gorgeous Fender Artisan Koa Jazzmaster! This may be one of the most beautiful Fender guitars to have graced our shop. The figuring on the koa top is exquisite and the roasted birdseye maple neck even has some flame figuring to it as well. The guitar is visually stunning from top to bottom, no matter where you look. And that's only just the beginning! Wait until you get it in your hands, plug it in, and let it rip! That's when the real fun starts.

When this beautiful guitar was first unveiled in our shop, everyone stopped what they were doing and let out a collective, "Ahhhhhhhh". We're all totally smitten with it and as much as we'd like to just hoard it for ourselves and keep it as a show piece, we're ready to find it the best possible new home and it really wants to be played. The particular cut of koa they used for the top and this specific maple neck really are something to behold. But obviously there's a lot more to a guitar than just how it looks... So, while it's easy to get lost in the beauty of this Jazzmaster, the playability and sound are equally noteworthy.

Next, the neck: Again... It's absolutely beautiful. But it's also supremely constructed with immaculate fretwork and, while there is a bit of nitro on the neck, it still feels very slick and it's not coated in globs of gloss. As you wrap your fretting hand around the neck, it becomes instantly clear how extremely well put together this guitar is. The set up arrived to us already perfect and the action is extremely low right out of the box.

The tone is exceptional. Warm, rich and dynamic, this Jazzmaster can cut it all. The African Blackwood fretboard really has a lot of characteristics similar to Brazilian Rosewood. While it provides a nice warmth to the sound, it also has a shimmery top end that just isn't found in more traditional rosewoods (such as East Indian rosewood that is most commonly used for fretboards these days). The vocal-like quality of the guitar is accentuated by the hand-wound single-coil Jazzmaster pickups that really do a great job of replicating that late 50's and early 60's sound that Jazzmasters are known for. It's extremely rich in harmonic content with a punchy bottom end, a sweet mid-range, and articulate treble.
