When you're talking about a Fender Custom Shop instrument, you know you're starting off with the bar raised pretty high. And here's another one that won't disappoint. Perfect for the player or collector that wants something different than the same old strat that everyone else has, the koa top and okoume body do more than just give this a unique look. While the difference is subtle, you can hear the sweetness in the midrange that these tonewoods bring to the table. You still get plenty of brightness, as you'd expect out of a strat, but this has a bit of an overall warmer sound to it, relatively speaking.

Whether you're looking for a strat that looks different or sounds different, you're probably never going to run into somebody else that has a guitar like you if you scoop this one up. The guys and gals over at the Custom Shop absolutely crushed it with this one.

The Artisan Koa Strat is a refined and elegant guitar with all you would expect in playability and tone from the Fender Custom Shop. Stunning in looks and performance, the Artisan Koa Strat boasts a roasted okume body and 4A koa top that gives it an enticing aesthetic and near-perfect tone. Adding a 4A roasted flame maple neck with a Macassar ebony fingerboard and a set of hot, hand-wound Ancho Poblano pickups makes it a pleasure to play and look at.

Additional features include a 1963 “C”-shaped neck profile, 9.5”-12” compound-radius fingerboard, 21 6105 frets, 5-way switch, Vintage Modified #2 wiring, single-ply gold anodized pickguard, American Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuning machines with Fender logo, bone nut and string tree. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and Certificate of Authenticity.
