This guitar is stunningly beautiful and the perfect axe for somebody who feels the need... The need for speed! This guitar is built to shred. No doubt about it. The neck is slim and super fast to maneuver around and the Doug Aldrich pickups are hot and powerful. They can really hit your amp or your pedals hard and will maintain a distinct and articulate tone even when heavily saturated. These humbuckers really sound amazing and full without ever being muddy. There is a ton of harmonic content and richness in them and though this guitar is built to rock, it really has some great tonal versatility. You can clean the tone right up and get some glassy and warm clean tones as well. You certainly don't need to always run this with distortion, but if you choose to, it'll handle that in spades.
This could very likely be the last singlecut axe you need to shred your way to happiness. Perfect for the studio, big stage, or a jam session with friends, this guitar is going to impress visually and sonically, without a doubt. The attention to detail is nothing short of immaculate. Everything from the woods chosen, pickups used, hardware included, and neck shape that was carved for this are designed to combine for the ultimate package in aesthetics and playability. The release of the Modern T Pro marks the debut of an entirely new model for Suhr. This one is an adaptation of the Modern T Pro that was put together by Suhr's custom shop luthiers. Designed in conjunction with Andy Wood, the Modern T combines the 24 fret neck and sculpted heel joint of our Modern with the body shape of our Classic T, improving player comfort at the upper frets while preserving a more traditional design aesthetic. Equipped with our Modern Elliptical neck profile, rolled fingerboard edges and a 10″-14″ compound fingerboard radius. Stainless steel frets offer silky smooth bending and long-lasting playability. Every Suhr receives a PLEK fret dress, ensuring the best possible string action, playability and intonation. Great care is taken to ensure that the thinnest possible layers of finish are applied. Our finishing process provides an unparalleled combination of protection, beauty, and tone. This allows the wood to resonate freely while still providing ample protection. Scraped binding allows for the natural maple to be seen along the edge of the top wood. This painstaking and detailed process accentuates the beauty of the body shape and adds elegance to the design.
