This guitar is as amazing to play as it is to look at. It will sound like a Custom 24 through and through and plays like only the finest examples of PRS's Custom 24's do and sports an exquisite quilt maple top. The rosewood fretboard and mahogany body and neck make this a warm-sounding guitar with plenty of brightness on tap in case you need it. The advantage of the 3-way toggle switch over the 5-way blad selector that comes on some CORE Custom 24's is that you can dial in single-coil tones that are only available in this configuration (see below for more specifics on that) and you really end up with an extraordinarily versatile guitar.
The patten thin neck it truly effortless to fly up and down. Playability is made even more perfect by the simply impeccable fretwork on this guitar. Previously undiscovered musical ideas will jump off of the fretboard with this guitar. There's a very real thing that can happen when you pick up a guitar that is just so inspiring that it makes you a better player. This truly is one of those special instruments!

The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar. This iconic instrument was the first model that Paul Reed Smith brought to the public at PRS Guitars’ first Winter NAMM show in 1985 and has been a top seller ever since. Played by internationally touring artists, gigging musicians, and aspiring players, the Custom 24 features PRS’s patented Gen III tremolo system and PRS 58/15 pickups with volume and push/pull tone controls and a 3-way toggle switch.
The Custom 24 is the original PRS. Since its introduction, it has offered a unique tonal option for serious players and defined PRS tone and playability.
