Music Store Live is very proud to offer up this Mayones Regius 7 guitar in a beautiful trans blue finish over a buckeye burl top and adorned and highlighted with gold hardware.
The Regius line provides an excellent balance between classic design and modern tone. The neck feels absolutely amazing whether you're predominantly a 6-string slinger or have been playing extended range guitars for a while. The idea behind this is to still suit to Mayones' tradition of aggressive tone and shredder guitars, while keeping one foot in the more traditional and vintage tonal spectrum. The Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickups are definitely aggressive and designed for the modern metal shredder. It can clean up really nicely though to still allow for some variety and versatility. But overall, make no mistake about it, these are some pissed off pickups that want to hit your pedals and your amp hard. They're voices for powerful and fat clean tones out of the neck while being airy and tight in the bridge so you can throw any amount of saturation you desire and never worry about articulation or note definition.
While this guitar is still going to be a head-turner - I mean, just look at it! It's gorgeous! - the sound and playability are likely to be the most impressive aspects of this beauty. While this axe is very versatile and doesn't require you to play it at breakneck speeds with loads of distortion, it certainly still wants you to do that and will facilitate you in doing that, which is the coolest part. The guitar plays so well that licks which may have been beyond your capabilities in the past, may very well find themselves jumping right out of this bad boy.

Modern sound with a hint of classic shape. This perfect tool takes you to the highest pick of the strings instrument sound. Regius show us many different variations of bridge types, but also, what might be more important, in two different shapes.
The mighty Regius 7 with additional B string for a massive low-end. Neck-thru-body construction, Black Limba profiled body and 'radiused' Buckeye Burl Maple top, Ebony fingerboard (24 frets, no markers). Standard 25,4" scale.
In standard also with Sperzel tuners, Switchcraft jack, Graph Tech nut, Schaller Straplocks and a free hardcase (incl. in the price). Black or chrome hardware.

BARE KNUCKLE AFTERMATH PICKUPS
THE AFTERMATH IS PERFECT FOR THE MODERN METAL GUITARIST, WITH ACCELERATED BASS RESPONSE FOR EXCEPTIONALLY FAST TRACKING OF HIGH-SPEED STACCATO RIFFING. IT HAS A CRUSHING MID RANGE AND PRECISE HIGH-END ARTICULATION.
The Aftermath neck humbucker is Alnico V powered and voiced for fat, powerful clean tones, fluid vocal-like sustain when driven hard and good balance with the bridge humbucker.
With a symmetrically hand-wound twin screw coil design, the Aftermath is powered by 3 custom size ceramic magnets. The bottom-end responds quickly to pick attack and tracks fast riffing extremely accurately, mids are focused and intense for ultimate punch no matter how dense the mix or how low the tuning, and highs are precise and articulate. With a more compressed dynamic, single notes have masses of sustain while the front of the note is clear-cut and defined even under extreme amounts of gain.
