The Suhr Modern series of guitars are designed for... well, you guessed it... the modern day player who's not afraid to deviate from the vintage tones of old and needs something with a bit more edge to it. Want a strat-style axe that can melt faces and is comfortable enough to shred on until the sun comes up? Here you go! The Suhr designed pickups work together to provide a powerful and aggressive tone that does have the ability to be somewhat tamed. This guitar can handle anything you throw at it, whether you're looking to play clean, slightly dirty, or heavily overdriven. But once you get it in your hands, you'll likely just want to shred on it. The playability is off the charts and the tone wants to hit the front of your amp hard and with some anger (in the best of ways). The ebony fingerboard is bright and snappy. The mahogany neck and body add some nice mid-range presence to the overall sound which definitely helps when adding some saturation to the sound.
If you're looking to turn some heads with your tone as well as with the looks of your axe, this guitar will suit you on stage, in the studio, or at home jamming with some buddies. Either way, it's not a guitar you're ever going to outgrow.
