Music Store Live is very proud to offer up this Mayones Regius Core 6 guitar!
The Regius line provides an excellent balance between classic design and modern tone. The neck feels absolutely amazing and plays lightning fast. The idea behind this is to still suit to Mayones' tradition of aggressive tone and shredder guitars, while keeping one foot in the more traditional and vintage tonal spectrum. The Duncan JB and Jazz pickups clean up very nicely and aren't quite as in-your-face as what you'll find in some of Mayones' other offerings (that's not to say they are polite either). The guitar stays defined even when heavily saturated with distortion but can also cop a mellower and more vintage vibe too with a few minor control tweaks for a cleaner sound. This axe is very versatile and doesn't require you to play it at breakneck speeds with loads of distortion, but it certainly can easily handle that if that's what you're into. The guitar plays so well that licks which may have been beyond your capabilities in the past may very well find themselves jumping right out of this bad boy whether you're shredding away or jazzin' it up.
This is perfect for the Mayones fan that might not always be playing with high-gain and needs to be able to do a little of everything with the guitar.
