This particular one is a gorgeous paradise pink that has a bit more red to it than we've seen in some of the other ones while still having definite hints of pink as well. It certainly makes for a stunningly beautiful guitar.
This JP in Music Man's lineup, the JP15, commemorates 15 years of Petrucci/Music Man collaboration. But it was one of the better and more popular JP iterations that they came up with so it has remained in the arsenal and now Music Man has released this extra special BFR version. Only 110 of them were made worldwide so you know you've got a unique piece of Music Man history in your hands that not many other people will have and Mr. Petrucci signed this one, himself!
This guitar has that coveted Petrucci feel: The fretboard is perfectly consistent all the way up and down, and the strings practically play themselves. Bends are easy and intonate very well, and lightning fast runs come out cleanly and with plenty of articulation. The sound is clear and powerful, equally conducive to walls of distortion and crystal cleans. Upper register access is totally unrestricted thanks to a comfortable neck heel and smooth lower bout cut. This axe is perfect for the Petrucci fan or anyone who's looking for a high-end, high-octane shredder that'll hold up for lifetimes.

Limited to 110 pieces, this JP15 features a translucent Paradise Pink finish over a highly figured maple top and translucent pink back. The ebony fretboard is enveloped in a cream binding and lacks fret markers for an ultra clean look. Each guitar is hand signed by John Petrucci and ships with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
The JP15 features a lightweight African mahogany body with a figured flame maple top over a custom finish that is only available through this BFR run. Roasted flame maple neck and an ebony fingerboard adds just the right amount of snap and brightness while providing more stability in ever-changing climates and looking beautiful. The JP 15 is powered by twin custom DiMarzio Illuminator pickups, piezo bridge system and an onboard preamp that can provide a 20db gain boost.
