This Skervesen Raptor is very appropriately named. The guitar is aggressive and super fast to play. If you're not careful, it could just bite your head off... But if you can channel the power of a true beast master, then all of its powers will be at your fingertips. Blazing lead licks up and down the fretboard are a real breeze while complicated chord shapes are still easy to get every note to ring out perfectly. Even if this is your first foray into the world of extended range guitars, you're likely to feel right at home on this bad boy.
Let's not kid ourselves here, this is a shredder's axe through and through! Sure, it can handle a variety of playing styles, but it's begging to hit the front end of your amp hard and scorch the big stage. There's enough mid-range in the Bare Knuckle pickups to keep your tone punchy and defined, even when heavily saturated with distortion. They are hot and in-your-face. The beautiful swamp ash body provides a nice spankiness and brightness to the sound, ensuring that you'll never be bogged down with a muddy tone. You'll slice through any mix like a raptor shredding apart its prey. Even if you are new to playing a multi-scale guitar, you'll find that it requires only a very slight adjustment period and then you can enjoy perfectly tensioned strings even when you drop-tune!
The neck is slim, thin, and lightning fast. The fretwork is immaculate and allows for extreme bends without fretting out, two-handed tapping without exhausting your fingers, lightning-fast shredding up and down the neck, and chugging rhythms, all with minimal effort. The heel is contoured for easy access to those upper frets so you can really get as high up on the neck as you need to. A simple control layout and gorgeous aesthetics round out this incredible sounding guitar.

What is Skervesen’s World Domination Mod?
It’s a special electronic circuit available exclusively in our guitars. It contains high quality potentiometer(s) and two 3-way switches. With one you choose a pickup and with the second you choose between humbucking/coil split/acoustic mod.
What is the acoustic mod?
It’s a mod we developed that makes the guitar sound similar to an acoustic one. Not a piezo pickup, but still worth having in your arsenal.
The Juggernaut Humbucker
Whether it's crushing rhythm tones, fluid solo tone or massive clean soundscapes that you want to create, the Juggernaut humbuckers deliver on every level. The Juggernaut is Periphery guitarist Misha Mansoor’s signature humbucker, and the pickup has been designed with Misha’s progressive playing style in mind. Along with a massive sound, the pickup has an optional distinctive 'bulb' design cover etch, which adds a further dimension to an already unique pickup.

The Juggernaut humbucker is designed with symmetrically hand-wound twin screw coils and has a unique combination of massive Alnico V and ceramic VIII flankers for its engine in the bridge and a custom size Alnico V in the neck. Bass response is big and focused with lots of weight in the mids for the ultimate in definition through complex extended chord voicings. The high end is rich and vocal with all of the articulation and dynamic control that Misha demands for his progressive playing style.
