Music Store Live is very proud to offer up this Mayones Regius 7 guitar! We scooped this up as one of Mayones' NAMM Exhibition guitars - and you know they're only bringing the best of the best with them to such an illustrious event.
The Regius line provides an excellent balance between classic design and modern tone. The neck feels absolutely amazing whether you're predominantly a 6-string slinger or have been playing extended range guitars for a while. The idea behind this is to still suit to Mayones' tradition of aggressive tone and shredder guitars, while keeping one foot in the more traditional and vintage tonal spectrum. The Duncan JB and Jazz pickups clean up very nicely and aren't quite as in-your-face as what you'll find in some of Mayones' other offerings. The guitar stays defined even when heavily saturated with distortion but can also cop a mellower and more vintage vibe too with a few minor control tweaks. Make no mistake about it, however, this is still a shredder's guitar through and through.
While this guitar is still going to be a head-turner - I mean, just look at it! It's gorgeous! - the sound and playability are likely to be the most impressive aspects of this beauty. While this axe is very versatile and doesn't require you to play it at breakneck speeds with loads of distortion, it certainly still wants you to do that and will facilitate you in doing that, which is the coolest part. The guitar plays so well that licks which may have been beyond your capabilities in the past, may very well find themselves jumping right out of this bad boy.

Modern sound with a hint of classic shape. This perfect tool takes you to the highest pick of the strings instrument sound. Regius show us many different variations of bridge types, but also, what might be more important, in two different shapes.
The mighty Regius 7 with additional B string for a massive low-end. Neck-thru-body construction, Swamp Ash or Mahogany profiled body and 'radiused' Flamed Maple top, Ebony fingerboard (24 frets, no markers). Standard 25,4" scale.
In standard also with Sperzel tuners, Switchcraft jack, Graph Tech nut, Schaller Straplocks and a free hardcase (incl. in the price). Black or chrome hardware.
