The KX257B is a baritone 7-string guitar with a 685mm(27”) scale length for a more defined and tighter low end. Featuring Mahogany body for a strong midrange bark and EMG RetroActive Super77 7-string pickups, the KX257B packs a serious punch for today’s intense metal styles and sounds.

MAHOGANY BODY

The KX257B features a mahogany body and Bolt-On construction for a thick yet punchy and powerful tone that matches its intense design and styling. While modeled after the modern style double-cutaway body, standing out from its class for enhanced playability as well as its unique visual style.

EMG RETROACTIVE SUPER 77-7ST SET

Designed with today’s metal sounds in mind, the EMG RetroActive Super77 7-string pickups provide a very clear high output with superb articulation and focus on the low strings and a singing high-end.

HARDTAIL BRIDGE WITH STRING-THRU BODY

The strings-thru-body hardtail bridge improve sustain as well as enhancing resonance through the Mahogany body.

1VOLUME, 1TONE, 3WAY PICKUP SELECTOR

The simple 1 volume, 1 tone and 3-way toggle switch controls provide a variety of great sounds and allows you to focus on your playing.

BLACK SATIN FINISH

The Mahogany body in the smooth black satin finish is comfortable but also provides a rich yet barking midrange that perfectly suits the aggression required by metal as well as other musical styles and genres.

RAINDROP INLAY ON THE JATOBA FINGERBOARD

Jatoba is a very dense and stiff wood that makes it ideal for the fingerboard usage. Jatoba produces strong fundamentals and volume projection with an emphasis on the high-mids. The new “Raindrop” fingerboard inlay designed specifically for this model provides a distinctive look.
