A truly refreshing and unique take on the HSS configuration, this Paloma is one impressive rock machine! The single-coil pickups are airy and have a refined vocal-like quality to them. They really do sing. The humbucker is vintage but can also handle some modern applications as well with articulation that can handle distortion without sounding muddy. This was one of the more fun Duesenbergs to test out when it arrived in the store. The possibilities are pretty fast with the sounds you can get out of it.
You can get spanky and stratty with this or it can sound like it's own beast. The Paloma is an immensely versatile guitar and it's instantly clear why it's such a popular model in Duesenberg's arsenal. Everything about this guitar is classy as all heck. But, of course, looking so beautiful is only going to get you so far. This guitar plays like an absolute dream. The fretwork is precise and leaves nothing to be desired. The upper fret access is smooth and easy to get to. Flying up and down the neck of this guitar is a joy and a real breeze. The Paloma was designed to look good, feel comfortable, and sound awesome. This one does all of that in spades.

The Paloma is for those who seek ultimate flexibility. The three pickup layout featuring our Grand VintageHumbucker and two matched Duesenberg Single-coils, Pearlito and AlnicoBlade, offer a wide variety of sounds for any situation. The four pickup combinations are accessible through our new 4-Way rotary switch. All of that is topped off by our acclaimed Diamond Deluxe Tremola, Pearloid Diamond fretboard inlays, and a beautifully shaped body contour.
All our instruments are fitted with our own hardware, which you will only find on a Duesenberg. We design it with attention to even the smallest details to create truly unique instruments from tuner buttons to jack plates.
All our fretboards are carefully plek'd and finished by hand for optimum playability and the smooth feel they are famous for.
The Paloma is available in Black, Red-Sparkle, Narvik Blue and White and as a Red-Sparkle lefthand model.

Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, tested, set up, and cleaned all of our instruments on site prior to shipping. All of our instruments are guaranteed to be fully functional upon arrival.
