Player's Perspective
These are coated strings designed with the coated-string nay-sayer in mind. They don't make your strings feel like they're coated in gunk, but they do last longer than normal strings. Gauges 12 - 53.
Composed of 80% copper and 20% zinc, commonly referred to as brass, this is the original acoustic string alloy selected by John D'Addario Sr. and John D'Angelico in the 1930s. A popular choice for recording due to its crisp, deep and projecting tone.
