The shell is a newer spin on the Classic’s series shell. The Classic series shells is a ply shell with 2 plies of Mahogany sandwiching a ply of Poplar. To make this shell with a little more modern twist with more plies to brighten the sound and make the tone higher we made this shell with 7 plies with 2 plies of Mahogany for the outer, and 5 plies of Poplar for the inner…Contemporary Classic! This 5-piece kit comes in a gorgeous Blue Glass finish, a look that's both timeless and bold and one that's sure to put your kit center stage.
