For the Solo Dreadnought Breedlove selected a Sitka spruce top to give the added power for big instrument sound. With the cutaway for full fret access, the side monitor sound hole, and side-mounted L.R. Baggs Stage Pro electronics, this is a versatile guitar in any setting for any player.

Optimized for solo songwriting, but also perfectly suited to recording and performance, the Solo Dreadnought delivers a warm voice and substantial projection. The solid Sitka spruce top is paired with an extra-deep East Indian rosewood body to generate bright and clearly articulated single notes. Crafted to help players accurately hear their instrument when playing, the Breedlove Monitor side sound hole projects sound directly toward the ear, allowing guitarists to hear their performance with an entirely new dimension of clarity and detail.
