Warwick's German-made Streamer CV offers unrivaled craftsmanship, an exquisitely smooth playing experience, and a rich, versatile voice that'll thrive in a whole variety of musical styles. This instrument radiates that custom shop vibe: It's perfectly balanced and has a way of just sitting in your hands more comfortably than most instruments we're used to. Full bodied, warm and nuanced, the sound has a beautiful mid range with well defined and growly lows with an articulate and snappy top end.

The neck is very comfortable in every register, and the fretwork is impeccable. Slapping feels absolutely amazing on this bass, but it can also handle aggressive pick playing and, of course, it relishes in fingerstyle thump. The relic job is well done on this and it doesn't look too terribly overdone. It really just looks like a bass that's seen a few decades of touring, but it plays and sounds like a marvelous concoction of modern technology and luthery skills. It's got that classic fat, punchy, and growly sound that Warwick is known for and passive MEC pickups do a great job of straddling the line of vintage warmth with modern brightness. To our ears, this bass may be favored by funk or rock players, due to it's tight and punchy sound, but the versatility of this is really impressive and it can mellow out nicely with the passive treble and bass tone controls.

The deluxe gig bag that's included is, honestly, as safe and sturdy as any hardshell case. Plus you can carry it on your back and save yourself a trip when loading in and out of gigs. It's very solid and we much prefer it to the flight case that weighed 50 lbs (empty) that these used to come in.

Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, tested, set up, and cleaned all of our instruments on site prior to shipping. All of our instruments are guaranteed to be fully functional upon arrival.
