Warwick’s new Pro Series instruments are made entirely in Germany – in the same factory where Warwick’s highest-end, most souped up models are built. The Pro Series was always good, but now it reflects a new standard of build quality, tone and playability.
This Corvette $$ packs a whole lot of punch. Loaded with two potent humbuckers, this bass is for players who need to be able to move serious air, keep the lows tight and step out and punch. Scoop the mids for a super crisp, snappy funk tone, or gently boost the mids with a little gain in your signal for some nice growl. High-quality hardware, exacting build quality, and meticulous fretwork make this bass feel like it's going to hold up for decades and still perform just fine.
Special Features
This German-made Pro Series Corvette $$ is one powerful bass. The body is swamp ash, and the ovangkol neck has a wenge fingerboard. The 24 jumbo nickelsilver frets have been treated with Warwick's IFT technology, so they're all exactly where they need to be. Electronically, this bass sports two passive MEC MM-style humbuckers wired to an active MEC preamp. The sound is enormous, and it's easy to sculpt to your exact liking with some simple tweaking. Great craftsmanship and a beautiful, understated finish top everything off.
