The original PolyTune was an entirely new idea for guitar players: Tune all the strings simultaneously. It made for much quicker and simpler tuning, especially in live situations when time is limited. TC Electronic built on this great design for the PolyTune 2, and they've revamped it in a new mini format. All of the wonderful things about the original are intact - you can strum all the strings and get a tuning readout of all 6 simultaneously - but a few key updates have been added as well. The display is brighter, so you'll always be able to see it on dark stages. The PolyTune 2 Mini also features a super-accurate chromatic strobe tuner that can get you in tune down to +/- 0.1 cent. It can also do drop D, capo and alternate tunings with ease. You don't have to change modes to tune one string or all 6 simultaneously - the PolyTune 2 listens to what you do and responds accordingly. And it's true bypass, so don't worry about sacrificing any tone. This is easily the last tuner you'll need to buy.
