Music Store Live is proud to present this Suhr Custom Shop Classic T! This guitar was the brainchild of master luthier Mike Ponce and boy did he ever hit it out of the park with this one.
The unique look of this guitar is likely to be the first thing you notice. But as soon as it's in your hands, that's where the real fun starts. The neck feels divine. It's not super slim but by no means is it chunky, either. This guitar, in everything other than the custom paint job, is designed to remind you of your favorite Tele's of old but with modern playability. So the neck has a bit of a vintage vibe to it but it also has a compound radius and extremely comfortable fretboard and fret edges. Also the pickups are the Classic T single coil pickups. So they are bright, jangly, spanky, and have plenty of bite and twang to them, just like those 50's Tele's that we all know and love so much.
Now - It's absolutely true that whenever you get a Suhr guitar, you can expect an unparallel level of quality and craftsmanship. That goes without saying. But when you get one that is made, from start to finish, by one of John Suhr's top master luthier's, you realize you have something very special in your hands.

Our customers have asked for an instrument that has a vintage look and feel, without sacrificing playability and tone. Enter the Classic T. We designed this guitar to ensure it preserves the spirit of a vintage instrument while performing like a Suhr. Impeccable craftsmanship and attention to detail ensure that every neck pocket is tight, every fret is perfectly dressed, and that every instrument is ready for peak performance before leaving our facility. The Classic T is equipped with our Even C Medium profile. Rolled edges and a 9″-12” compound fingerboard radius offers a substantial, yet comfortable shape. Stainless steel frets offer silky smooth bending and long-lasting playability. Every Suhr receives a PLEK fret dress, ensuring the best possible string action, playability and intonation. The Classic T features our Classic T bridge pickup which is wound to produce a broad range of classic T-style tones, from clean and snappy to warm and punchy with just the right amount of growl and a Classic T single coil for the neck position.
