The look is at attention grabbing, sexy, classy, and totally metal! Be sure to check out the figuring on the top and the awesome burst finish on this one. The fretwork is immaculate. The feel is unparalleled, and the sound is completely off the charts. 2-handed fretboard tapping, lightning fast sweep arpeggios, or creamy, smooth, and sultry lead licks - it's all there at your disposal. Thick, searing tone with a distinctly vocal-like edge is easy to coax from this axe. It's perfect for high-gain, super expressive solos and heavy riffs while also being able to clean up quite nicely. I love the body style more and more: It's one of the most comfortable designs on the market. It has a way of contouring to your body that makes multi-hour practice sessions easier on your back, hands and mind. If you're looking for a super sleek, lightweight shred axe, don't pass over this one. The RG852MPBGFB features a basswood body with a visually intriguing Mappa burl top that will easily turn heads. No matter how many strings you need, have no fear, there's never any compromise in structural integrity. The ultra-thin, 5-piece maple/wenge, Ultra 8 neck offers rock-solid stability with the lightning speed that only a Prestige neck can deliver.

Electronics include a pair of DiMarzio PAF-8 pickups for a vintage vibe with rounded highs and defined lows. The Gibraltar Standard II bridge, designed for precise intonation adjustment, playing comfort, and great sustain, combine with super smooth Gotoh MG-T locking tuners for superior tuning stability. Hardshell case included.
