Player's Perspective

This is one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to improve your bass tone. It's a pre-amp that doubles as a direct box, all housed in a stompbox-style enclosure for super easy use. There's a three band EQ for dialing in your exact sound as well as Hartke's infamous "shape" knob. The harmonics knob emulates the warmth of a tube pre-amp, and the mix knob will let you control how much of the pedal's processed tone is blended with the natural sound of your rig. This little pedal can also function as a direct box. Run your bass to this box and straight to the house mix. One of the simplest ways to gain more tone control over your bass.
