Unique to this BFR Bongo build is the roasted flame maple neck and fretboard along with the black binding that surrounds it. The figuring on this one really is special and the neck is extremely vibrant with the contrast of the darkness of the roasting process and the heavy flame throughout.
Two neodymium humbucking pickups and a powerful 18v 4-band EQ preamp help give this bass a whole heck of a lot of punch and the slim body and neck design are comfortable for hours and hours of endless playing. The preamp gives you loads of headroom and a potent hi-fi tone that is tight, growly, and punchy.
If you're the kind of Music Man enthusiast that prefers to stand out from the crowd, this BFR Bongo is for both the collector and the player.

This special edition BFR Bongo 5 is beautifully accented with black pickguard, black plastic parts and chrome plated hardware making this a very desirable instrument. The Bongo comes standard with 18-volt 4 Band Preamp, nickel frets and is limited to just 57 pieces worldwide.
