As the name implies, this Tank is an absolute bulldozer and is a powerful beast. A true force to be reckoned with. It's versatile enough to be used by anybody looking for an aggressive bass tone but clearly designed with the metal shredder in mind. But this bass also has a killer clean slap tone and can fit in modern R&B and funk situations too where the bass tone tends to be more prevalent and less buried in the mix. The 18mm string spacing helps with fast runs and lines that require string skipping.

The build quality is beyond superb and the action, right out of the box, was really low while still producing clear and buzz-free notes. From top to bottom this feels like a truly boutique and high-end instrument while being an absolute heavyweight in the tone department. The Nordstrand electronics are some of the best in the business. Carey Nordstrand and his team have been developing superb electronics for quite some time. This is basically designed off of the Music Man StingRay HS platform but with some additional refinement to it.
