With unbeatable feel, superb tone, and flawless playability, the American Pro Jazz Bass always delivers top shelf performance. The new V-mod pickups pump out a slightly higher output for better definition and clarity in the low-mids. You get that classic Jazz bass growl and can easily still dial in vintage tones while maintaining the capacity to get a little more modern than the American Standards of old. The new narrow-tall frets feel great under your fretting hand and allow you to get really expressive with bends, double-stops, and even chords, which always staying comfortable for single-note grooves. The factory setup on this J Bass is phenomenal and we've gone over it to double check. There's no buzzing anywhere, the neck is straight, the action is low and the intonation is right on the money. A classic design with a slightly modern take makes this a solid addition to Fender's line of basses.

V-Mod Jazz Bass pickups are modified versions of our classic vintage pickup designs. Packed with the fundamental Fender bass sound you know and love, these single-coil pickups crank out high-output tone with vintage warmth and the crisp, clear sound that made Fender a legend. All American Professional bass necks incorporate Posiflex graphite rods to reinforce against movement that can occur with fluctuations in the environment. Embedded beneath the fingerboard, they improve reliability on the road, in the studio or in your home.
This limited-edition model comes with a lightweight ash body in Sienna Sunburst with an Aged White Pearl pickguard, Aged White pickup covers and American Elite knobs.
