Right away you'll notice gorgeous quilt maple top on there. This bass looks awesome right out of the gate. But the fun is just beginning there. It plays effortlessly and sounds tight and punchy with crystal clear and crisp highs and a fat bottom end that doesn't get muddy, even when you dime the bass boost. It's also hard to overlook the pickups, especially when they're that big! The tone they pump out is as massive as they look.

These SimS pickups are hand made over in the UK and they are mighty fine! In series mode, the sound is nothing short of being a bulldozer. It's absolutely huge sounding with a big, fat bottom end that remains tight and punchy. In parallel mode you get a bit more mid-range growl and punch out of them. In the single-coil mode, you're able to dial in a slightly more vintage sound with ample brightness and top end sparkle. And you can individually control each pickup to mix and match with any combination of series/single-coil/parallel your heart desires.

The neck profile feels sort of in between a modern p-bass and a 70's j-bass with the slightly beefier U-shaped neck, but it's not nearly that chunky still. Super comfortable, extremely easy on the eyes, and packing a ton of punch, this is a professional caliber instrument in every way. Attention to detail is precise so whether you're playing at home, jamming with friends, or tearing it up on the big stage, this bass has got you covered.

To make the most of this instrument, the Euro4LX RS is equipped with all-new SimS Super Quad pickups that offer an incredible array of tones for any situation. The fully carved body has also been slightly altered to provide even easier access to the upper frets for effortless playability. Additionally, the Euro4LX Rudy Sarzo is outfitted with a lightweight, zinc brass alloy bridge and nut and Spector’s coveted Tone Pump active tone circuit.
